how my lca 1989 turned a devil ...

after few weeks destruction and re-construction...

here's my devil lca 1989

the dark air it gives off ~


with shutter release adaptor


with multiple exposure


and replaced with a new lca ASA "flower" (got it from a friend of mine !!!)

here's how it turned devil...

how to open up LCA

unscrew the 4 screws on the front cover, take it off


use a screw to fix the film rewinder bar,
and twist the handle the other side to loosen it


unscrew here


and here...


it will look like this...

drill !


drill over blue tag seems better ...


done ! (test the hole with your shutter release...
as long as it can screw down properly, stop drilling

after that, this part is done (wait till you finish other parts,
just put everything back to place !)

unscrew the bottom cover


drill a long hole !


smoothen it


de-dust it with blue tag



i got some plastic parts from a broken touch to act as a temp handle
drag it for MX !


and finally did a handle with model putty
should have sprayed it black !

lca flower replacement


aw the flower has fallen !


poor flower - it is not repairable


lucily my friend got a good one for me for free


unscrew the old flower


be careful of losing the tiny metal ball !

tips : take parts off carefully
take pics for reference if u dont have confidence to put it back in place ...
