re-skining seagull

after fixing my seagull 4b
here we go onto - reskinning it
it's pretty straight forward


outline the pattern


tools


use a solderer to burn the edge

and after ...


for the sides, just burn it slightly with candle fire


finished back cover


close up of the burnt edge


this is a strong adhesive


stick it on and press it


slice it thinner for regions needs thinner skin (front)
