the future's not ours to see
I wanted to be a comic artist when I was young
My mum told me I will die of hunger if I choose that way
so I gave up totally
but I still love drawing
I love digital gaming thing when i grow bigger
but never consider it as my career
I dont believe I can
studied science stream, I am an OK student
my teacher Paul Paskewitz and Philip Leetch gave me chances
to be their book's illustrator
I entered HKU BioTech
I studied French there too
My professor Sylvain gave me flash game n e-learning freelances
I had an English instructor - Dennis Williamson
who sugggested me to join the HK-Toronto digital media competition
I won, by luck, sure with my hard-work too
I took a totally strange pathway
but my dream was never too far from me
just that it appears in other formats
I learnt how to choose
I've chosen to take the scholarship and go study
I saved money for the rest of my uni life
I flew away and had a harsh tight-ass + cold cold year
I worked at the opposite side of the world for another year
I came back
I work in digital media field, programming and drawing
well it's not exactly as my kid's dream but it is more exciting
keep learning it, I love it more and more
integrating different media, blurring the boundary of digital and analogue
is my next goal
no one knows the future
fix your goal, believe in yourself and run hard for it
that's what life's about :D

It's interesting how's ur ambition during ur younger time became a reality. :)
It's more important to know wat u want in future about ur career more than anything else.

yah i really like this field as m personal interest
i am actually doing bad at work... coz many factors at work affecting what i can do
no strong enough to fight back
shamefully hehee
hey kit...u are not the only designer in hk who doesn't like what you are doing. as you know design works in hk have to be "fast, good and cheap"...

good ones can manage those suckers, and tell them what should be done what shouldnt >;o)
